DEBBIE MCKINNEY

Debbie has over 30 years of experience in counseling. She started by becoming a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). She has worked in many settings as an LCDC, including in-patient facilities, court-ordered, private practice, and most recently the director of an in-patient intensive facility in Hill Country.
While she has specialized in working with those fighting addiction for the majority of her career it has also opened up new areas of counseling. While working with Anderson County, Texas she was able to work with court-ordered clients that required drug and alcohol abuse counseling. During this time she was able to develop a working relationship with Parole and Probation Officers and of course, the Judges. Over the years of working with these clients, she was able to obtain a Criminal Justice Specialist License.
While working with the courts, she also discovered a new passion she could work with, anger management. After becoming a certified Anger Resolution Therapist she quickly began working with all types of people in need of such counseling. She has experience working in group settings, court-ordered, individual, and family anger management.
